Carol, was tried by jury for the crime of Rape in the First Degree in violation of 21 O.S.Supp. 1983 ? 1114 [21-1114] in Case No. CRF-83-120 in the District Court of LeFlore County. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and set punishment at twenty-five (25) years imprisonment. The trial court sentenced the defendant in accordance with the jurys verdict. From this judgment and sentence, the appellant appeals to this Court.
